According to officials, two persons got injured when a small aircraft landed and crashed upside down over a golf course in Texas on Friday night.

According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, both were located inside the damaged, flipped aircraft and were airlifted to a hospital in Houston area for treatment from Pine Forest Country Club. Their medical conditions were not disclosed.

“Both are alive but injured,” Gonzalez tweeted.

The Texas DPS is investigating the crash until authorities from the FAA and the NTSB arrive, according to the Texas DPS.

KPRC-TV says that according to the FAA, the unlucky aircraft is a single-engine Mooney M20J.

According to the outlet, the jet took off from outside of San Antonio about 6:13 p.m. and was scheduled to land at 7:25 p.m. at the West Houston airport, but never arrived.
