Alexia Echevarria, the famous star of Real Housewives of Miami, mourns her mother on the eve that was supposed to be her wedding day.
On Wednesday, the TV star Alexia Echevarria,54, announced her mother’s death due to Covid. The devastating incident happened on the day Alexia Planned to marry her fiancé Todd Neola.
The reality star on Instagram paid tribute to her mother, who died fighting Covid-19. “Early this morning, I lost my mom to the horrible and deadly COVID-19. The last couple of days have been a rollercoaster of emotions for me. I was on the road to marry the man of my dreams when I had to stop everything as my mother became ill,” she captioned a series of heartbreaking pictures with her mother.
She attributed her mother as a woman of “strength and beauty”. She was her “Best friend” and “psychiatrist”. She gushed that “What was supposed to be the happiest day of my life today has turned out to be the saddest.”
She shared with the public about how perfect her mother was and that “she was the kind of woman that was respected, admired, inspirational and so ahead of her times,” and added “She was a trailblazer in so many aspects of life.”
While mourning her death and reminiscing about past moments, the Bravo star revealed to the public that her mother started her medical journey being a political refugee from Cuba and successfully raised three children.
Alexia wrote that she will always cherish her mother’s stories, wisdom, strength, and zest for life. She further put her feelings in words and said that she will always admire her love for connecting with people and continue sharing her love for her mother’s second homeland, Spain.
She concluded her emotional note by thanking and appreciating her mother for everything she did and asking her to watch over the family from the above.
“Just saying I will miss you wouldn’t be enough to express what I’m feeling right now. No amount of tears can express the pain I feel in losing you but then again, thank you for the honor of sharing a lifetime with me,” she wrote.
Alexia Starred in the famous TV show The Real Housewives of Miami in the first three seasons. Later in 2013, the show went off the air. In February, as per the ET reported, the much-loved show The Real Housewives of Miami is back in the production process and is set to release the fourth season to air on Peacock.
