On Saturday Night Live, Taylor Swift took a trip down memory lane!

“All Too Well” from Taylor Swift’s freshly released album Red (Taylor’s Version) was performed by the 31-year-old pop diva on Saturday Night Live, just a day before her appearance on the comedy show.

Taylor Swift’s anticipated visit was accompanied by a video from All Too Well starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien, which was shown in the backdrop while leaves and then the snow began to fall on stage throughout her presentation.

Rina Yang, the film’s cinematographer, filmed the short with the singer as director. Jake Gyllenhaal, who has long been rumored to be Jake Gyllenhaal’s ex-girlfriend, is played by Sink, a 19-year-old actress.

As the song’s memories are played back, the film also includes dialogue to further flesh out the lyrics.

For the first time, Taylor Swift did a 10-minute performance of ‘All Too Well’ in a live setting.

The “Three Sad Virgins” skit, in which she appeared with Pete Davidson, also included Taylor Swift. The Grammy Award-winning artist performed an original song that made fun at the lack of sex appeal of show staffers Martin, Ben, and John in the spoof roast.

Swift made her sixth appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL). “Lover” vocalist made her 30 Rockefeller Plaza debut in January 2009 as a musical guest before returning the following season and hosting both the musical guest and the show itself in November of that year.

After the release of her albums Folklore and Reputation, Swift was featured as a musical guest on the program in 2017 and 2019.

“All Too Well” was hinted by Swift when Jimmy Fallon asked for suggestions about which songs she might sing on The Tonight Show on Friday.

That’s a lot of music for only two songs, she said to Fallon, who seemed shocked.

Swift premiered the updated version of “All Too Well” in an AMC movie theater in New York City after the screening of All Too Well.

In advance of the screening, Swift said that the song has taken on a whole new significance since its debut on Red in 2012. She said that this song was 100% for her.
