Former Disney Star, Bella Thorne and boyfriend Benjamin Mascolo announced their engagement on Sunday via Instagram.
The 23-year-old actress and her Italian pop singer beau have been in a relationship for two years now. The rumors have been churning in for over a year regarding engagement when Bella posted a boat ride picture in Venice claiming that a big announcement is coming soon.
The official engagement was announced on Instagram. She said YES, the Italian singer wrote along with his sweetheart’s picture encircled with hearts. Bella was seen sporting her pear-shaped engagement ring.
Mascolo who is currently co-starring with Bella in a teen romance titled “Time Is Up” wrote his proposal story in response to a fan’s question in his IG story.
At the end of the video, Mascolo exclaimed that a celebration in Italy and America will take place soon.
He stated that he wrote a love letter on the back of the movie’s script. The film is directed by Elisa Amoruso. When the last scene ended, Bella was watching the monitor with the director and that’s when she got the surprise.
Bella Thorne was previously dating rapper Mod Sun but that didn’t last long. She broke up with the rapper in early 2019, with whom she was in an open relationship along with famous YouTuber Tana Mongeau.
Thorne was first seen with Mascolo in April 2019 and has been in a steady relationship since then.
Thorne has been active in the industry since her childhood. She first modeled when she was merely 6 weeks old. She rose to prominence for her role as CeCe Jones in Disney’s series ‘Shake It Up’ for which she has received many awards and accolades.
On the other hand, Mascolo is an Italian pop singer who divides his time between Italy and Los Angeles. He is very expressive about his relationship with Bella and often posts on social media, describing their relationship and her importance in his life.
