President Joe Biden has directed all the states to make all adults eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine by May 1. In his first prime-time address on Thursday, after signing the historic American Rescue Plan bill into law, the President claimed that it’s much earlier than expected.

He also claimed that it was not necessary for everyone to get the vaccine shot immediately, but that means everyone can get in line by May 1. He also announced the deployment of 4,000 active-duty personnel to support the vaccination drive.

He claimed that his administration will make sure that the relevant clinics, vaccine doses, and medical staff are available beforehand to facilitate the general public.
