Award-winning pop star Britney Spears enjoys the sweet taste of freedom as she is spotted celebrating her conservatorship termination with a glass of champagne.

On Sunday, the singer revealed in a statement that after 14 years of sobriety streak, she is enjoying her ‘first glass of champagne” at Catch during a celebratory dinner.

The 39-year-old Toxic singer had talked about her perfectly “amazing” weekend post her conservatorship termination on November 12, which obviously included a bit of champagne.

The Overprotected singer had gotten sober for the first time on Sunday after a public mental breakdown back in 2007, which abstained the singer from alcohol use under tight guidelines.

On Monday, the pop star with 36.3 million Instagram followers posted about how she spent her weekend as a free woman as she got slightly drunk.

‘What an amazing weekend … I felt like I was on cloud 9 the whole time !!! I actually got my first glass of champagne at the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever seen last night !!!!,’ wrote the singer.

The girl on cloud nine also added that she would be “celebrating my freedom and my B-day for the next two months after being imprisoned under the conservatorship for 13 years” she had ‘waited long enough’”.

While the couple was on their way to the restaurant in West Hollywood, fiancé Sam Asghari recorded a short video which he posted on Instagram. The video clearly had the celebratory vibe we must say. The restaurant also added to the post, “it was ‘an honor + privilege to have the queen in our midst.’”

The sobriety phase came after the fan-favorite star enjoyed a wild party phase of life in the early 2000s, where she would just hit the clubs in the company of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.

Later, her life went downhill when she was battling with her ex-husband Kevin Federline for her child’s custody.

In 2007, the pop star shaved her head with Sam Lufti, her former manager, who later confirmed that it was done to escape the drug test.

‘She told me someone had told her that they can scientifically test her hair for a history of drug use, so she shaved it off,’ said Sam Lufti in a civil trial against the celebrity and her parents.

The same year, Spears lost custody of her children as she got hospitalized twice and later proceeded to be treated into rehab, which, allegedly, her family made her do so.
