President Donald Trump and some of his officials are blaming China for setting the virus-free from a lab in Wuhan, a city in China.
Trump and his officials have been saying this for the past few days, with a theory that China had set the virus free and as a result, China is responsible for all the deaths in the U.S and all over the world.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs China, the US administration is trying to shift the focus of the world from the mistakes the U.S had made in dealing with the pandemic to a theory which has no weight and is not supported by any evidence.
Lijian Zhao said that China is also facing the confusion of the pandemic and it is also possible that the virus had originated from some US military base.
Scientists are still searching for further pieces of evidence to help them know where the disease originated from, but the leading theory is that the virus originated from an animal market in Wuhan, where it possibly transmitted from some infected animals to humans and then spread to all over the city.
Scientists say that the virus originated naturally in bats and because the market, from where it spread, is only 8 miles from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, people believe that the Chinese government either intentionally or unintentionally released the virus.
Previously, China spread false news that the virus originated from the US military and now Trump and his officials are blaming China for letting the virus spread without warning the international community.
Both superpowers are using propaganda against each other to divert the attention of the world from the problems of the pandemic. Both of the countries are still struggling to overcome the damage caused by the pandemic.
