A deadly shooting incident at a convenience store in Garland, Texas left three people dead and one critically wounded.

According to the police, the shooting episode on Sunday left three teenage boys dead hailing from Garland, Texas.

The deceased were identified as 14 years old Xavier Gonzalez, 17 years old Rafael Garcia, and 16 years old Ivan Noyala.

Another 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital in critical condition.

The police chief of Garland, Jeff Bryan conducted a news conference in which he played the video from the crime scene which occurred at a gas station.

A young shirtless man wearing shorts could be seen in the video opening the door of the store and opening fire instantly.

“The gun used in this incident was a 40-caliber pistol. It had an extended magazine,” Bryan said. “We know he fired at least 20 rounds because we found the shell casings.”

Police are looking for the motive behind the insane shooting. “‘Why’ is one of our big questions right now,” said Police chief Bryan.

A man was arrested in connection with the shooting episode. The police are hunting for another man who may not be the prime suspect but he may have assisted the deadly shooting incident.

“There is a second person that we’re looking for,” Bryan said. “Right now, we don’t know who he is … He is not suspected of the shooting, but he is a person of interest that we want to talk to.”

The second person being searched might own a white pick-up truck and he may have known that the crime is about to occur.

“From what I understand, there are some known acquaintances between all of the victims inside there. That’s not 100 percent certain, but it seems as if based on what we have so far, they were all known someway somehow,” Lt. Pedro Barineau of the Garland Police said

The shooter has yet to be identified, he was seen on camera shirtless, wearing only athletic shorts, a ball cap, and a face mask. He fled the scene in the white truck, and authorities have offered a $5,000 reward for any information that could help lead to his arrest.
