The biggest night in the TV world is all set to be telecasted live on 19th September 2021. Over the next few days, the academy will be giving away Emmy awards 2021 for all the categories which make or break a production team. Yes! You read it right – the first batch of winners for the creative arts categories were announced today.
The nominations included the categories of music, casting editing, visual effects, and other sound-related areas. The winners will receive their prestigious awards at the Microsoft Theater live in Los Angeles during the official ceremony.
The Emmy Awards 2021 will be broadcasted live but this year, the festivities will be curtailed to a smaller live audience because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. According to the reports, a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the ceremony after proving their vaccination certifications.
The 73 Emmy awards 202021 are scheduled to take place on 19th September and will be broadcasted live on Paramount+ and CBS.
The creative arts awards saw “The Queen’s Gambit” from Netflix coming out as the one project with the most nods. It was a great night for the queen gambit’s team as it won seven straight awards. HBO’s “Mare of Easttown” was able to grab two awards in the contemporary production design category.
Pose from the FX network won three Emmy awards bagging the awards at its finale season for the categories of costumes, hairstyling, and makeup.
The awards will be distributed among the winners next weekend as well. All the creative arts Emmy awards will be distributed before the final event but the winners will be invited to the main ceremony. All the winners were decided by the prestigious jury of the academy awards of television.
