Tish Cyrus has filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus, the actor and musician. After more than two decades together, this is the third time in their marriage that they’ve been on the verge of a divorce, so how much is at stake? In light of the couple’s wealth and many residences, Fox News Digital talked to a legal expert about their latest filing.

A qualified family law attorney and partner at Einstein Law, David Glass believes that Tish, 54, has enough money to cover her own legal bills and spousal support, and so does not require Billy Ray to pay up any of his own money in the new file reported by Fox News Digital.

“The parties have not resided together for over two years … since just before the pandemic in February 2020,” Glass stated to Fox News Digital. He said living apart for such a long duration is quite unusual.

Billy Ray Cyrus married Tish in 1993. Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus also had a daughter together, Noah Cyrus, who is now 22 years old. Brandi Cyrus, 34, and Trace Cyrus, 33, are the children of her first marriage to Baxter Helson.

“The parties were living in LA at that time, but it appears that Billy Ray moved back to Tennessee,” Glass added, while “Tish remains here in LA because her filing was notarized here.”

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Billy Ray Cyrus has a cumulative net worth of $20 million as a result of his long-running career as a country musician and composer. He has also earned much money for his part as Robby Ray in the famous teen sitcom “Hannah Montana”.

Tish’s net worth is also estimated at over $20 million because of her work as an executive producer and Miley’s manager, as well as the reality programme she hosted, “Truly Tish,” which aired from 2013 to 2014.

An episode from season one of the reality programme “Styled to Rock” featured Tish Cyrus and Miley as guest judges in 2013.
