Director James Gunn announces engagement with Peacemaker actress Jennifer Holland on Sunday ending the speculations surrounding the long-term couple of an upgrade in the relationship status.
The couple announced their engagement on their official social media platform.
James Gunn and Jennifer Holland have been together for over 6 years but engagement came as a surprise.
Director James Gunn rose to fame after his directorial Guardians of the Galaxy did record business at the box office whereas, actress Jennifer Holland rose to fame from her film peacemaker.
They both worked together recently in the Suicide Squad which was written and directed by James Gunn. They also worked together in a spin-off series of peacemaker on HBO which had Jennifer along with Emilia Harcourt.
According to the reports, James Gunn and Jennifer Holland have been dating each other since 2015 and James Gunn has many times publicly bestowed his affection on his partner. He shares sweet birthday posts on her birthday.
In a birthday message on Facebook for Jennifer Holland, he wrote “For me, meeting Jennifer Holland was like seeing a color I had never seen before. I didn’t know they made people like this: her wisdom, strength, integrity, and kindness, all in one human being, were foreign to me.”
Jennifer Holland also shared a picture with James Gunn on her Instagram with a simple caption “Swoon”.
The couple has been together for more than 6 years now and keeps on making red carpet appearances together on a regular interval.
Jennifer Holland will be appearing in the movie Brightburn directed by James Gunn. She will be playing the role of Ms. Espenschied, a school director.
If the couple is set for marriage, this will be the second marriage of director James Gunn.
James Gunn was previously married to Jenna Fischer, a renowned producer, and actress. She is well known for playing the role of Pam in The Office, the American version.
James Gunn and Fischer tied the knot on 7th October 2000 but parted ways in 2007 and were officially divorced in 2008.
The couple is said to be still close and are good friends irrespective of their divorce.
James Gunn stated in an interview “We weren’t the best at being married, but we’re the very best at being divorced, and we see each other quite frequently.”
