Due to the prevailing threat of protest breaking out, the inauguration day ceremony for Joe Biden will be held virtually. Kilgore College Rangerettes will perform on this historic occasion.
Kilgore College Rangerettes were allowed to perform, only after the team received a confirmation message from Biden Inauguration Committee.
In the wake of the precarious situation, that persists in Washington, following the Capitol Hill Siege, it was decided to hold a virtual inauguration ceremony. In some states, an emergency has been declared by the state authorities that are skeptical of the situation.
The Kilgore College Rangerettes have a long history of performing at the presidential inauguration, since 2001 when George W. Bush became the president.
Another issue that made it impossible for their physical presence at the inauguration, was the cause of the COVID-19 situation worsening in America. The number of cases continues to increase, and huge gatherings are to be avoided at any cost.
The authorities have issued a warning regarding the breach of COVID-19 protocols, and they want the people to understand the worsening situation.
Kilgore College Rangerettes will abide by all the SOPs provided by the government to ensure the safety of the parade members. It will be a peaceful parade, and the performance will not spark any violence or hatred.
