If you think the Kardashian-Jenner clan has given enough entertainment to you this year, think again, as momager Kris Jenner ends the year with a music-related feather in her cap. The 66-year-old media personality has released a Christmas single, featuring her daughter Kourtney Kardashian singing and Travis Barker on the drums.
The classic Christmas song has had many renditions over the years, and Kris Jenner has tried her hand with the song as a remix. The single was released with a cover of a young Kris Jenner wearing a fancy red sequin dress, in front of many Christmas stockings, in what looks like a Christmas celebration from back in her young days.
“A little fun in the studio with the iconic legendary queen that is @krisjenner, me on the jingle bells, and @travisbarker on the drums of course,” wrote Kourtney Kardashian while sharing the single with her fans over Instagram.
Daughter Khloé Kardashian celebrated the release by sharing the single cover on her Instagram writing, “There’s a new Christmas legend in town! God, I love you @krisjenner. Thank you @kourtneykardash and @travisbarker for making this happen.”
While this is a new mini-adventure of sorts for Kris Jenner, it’s not the first time she has released music. Back in ‘85, she released an original “I Love My Friends” for her 30th birthday, releasing a music video for the song as well. The song was a hit considering her following back then, as she also starred in the music video that accompanied. The song was set to the tune of Randy Newman’s I Love L.A. but with different lyrics that references Jenner’s own life.
Everyone knows such projects and side hustles that the family gets involved in seems to be more for its fun than for any other reward involved, just as with this project since Jenner is not a professional singer but still seems to be enjoying herself. The song is out on most streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube.
