On Saturday night, at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Gala, Lady Gaga redefined fashion in the most brilliant way possible. Her black gown with draped powder blue sleeves almost touching the ground, along with diamond accessories was not only complementing her dramatic, yet elegant and poise personality, but also made her look like the Queen that she is.

This simple yet creative gown was by none other than Schiaparelli. Her Chopard earrings were from the “Haute Joaillerie Collection,” featuring 18k white gold and 26.82 carats of diamonds. And her look was completed with an 18k white gold ring, adorned with 1.32 carats diamond from “Precious Lace Collection.”

Other than Gaga, a list of A-list celebrities including Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman, Queen Latifah, Patty Jenkins, Kristen Stewart, Kate Hudson, Tiffany Haddish and Regina King were also present at the event.

Ava DuVernay, Jason Blum, and Ryan Murphy co-chaired the gala and honored Haile Gerima, the filmmaker, and Sophia Loren. Apart from that, the honorable fundraisers were also honored for their generous funding and efforts along with other activities. The names include Annette Bening, Tom Hanks, and Bob Iger.

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will be open to the public on September 30, 2021. It is a 300,000 square foot complex, designed by the famous Renzo Piano. It was on the Academy’s list for a long time now and people have high hopes for it in the future.

“We need to celebrate everything this town and the art form has brought to the world. The end result exceeds our dreams by about tenfold. That’s what this building looks like to me, the world’s largest magic lantern that will transport us to another world.” Tom Hanks said during his speech.

Iger also shared her thoughts in a pre-recorded video, “I thought it would be great for our industry, but also for our community, The thing I am most excited to see is a movie premiere — hopefully a Disney movie premiere — in this great David Geffen Theater.”
