Lap dance videos straight from the homecoming event of Kentucky High school went viral across different social media platforms where students and teachers were seen provocatively involved in such dances and skits.
The videos that went viral on different social media outlets had students and teachers participating in raucous lap dances which did not seem aligned with the school policies at any scale.
The Hazard independent schools district from Kentucky announced an investigation into the homecoming event that took place in the school premises which also included a “Man pageant.”
According to the sources, the students were seen giving lap dances to teachers wearing just their undergarments.
The investigation by the disciplinary committee stated that the involved parties will be punished but claimed that all the “homecoming festivities” took place in an isolated environment.
The investigation reflected that this is not the first time these kinds of lap dances have been a part of the homecoming festivities. For the past four years, this has been a ritual from the students to the teachers.
An old video that reemerged on social media is dated back from October in 2017 where a male student is seen dressed up as a girl wearing a wig, shorts, and a bra while grinding on other male students who are seen sitting on chairs in the gym.
One of the most astonishing parts of the videos is that the principal of the school Donald “Happy” Mobelini is also seen enjoying the lap dances. Mobelini is seen clapping his hands as students approach him during one of the skits.
Principal Mobelini is also the mayor of Hazard. According to one of the parents of one of the students studying in Hazard High, “man pageant” has been a tradition of homecoming events for a long time now. Yet the school told the disciplinary committee that this was the first time it took place in the homecoming celebrations.
“We strive to foster creativity in our students, but unfortunately, this time it was carried too far”, stated Combs who is defending the Kentucky high school. She further said, “all the homecoming activities were intended to be fun and good-natured; however, the activities did not play out as intended.” Gov. Andy Beshear called the lap dance videos“inappropriate” and “totally unacceptable.”
