Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, to collaborate for a future Netflix project? Is this happening? Well, talks are underway and as the ice has melted since the birth of Lilibet in June, it is expected that this project will see the light of day soon!
According to US Weekly, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are getting along really well and have been in touch more often. “Meghan has been talking to her about collaborating on a project for Netflix, a documentary that will spotlight Kate’s charity work and the huge impact she’s made with her philanthropy.”
Meghan Markle is determined to share an inside look at the future queen of Britain, who is quite seriously considering the offer.
An insider told the press that “Kate is very flattered, and it’s all very positive between them.”
As per the reports, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry signed a multi-year deal with the streaming giant Netflix in September of 2020, in which they will be producing original content for the platform which will be movies, documentaries, series, and other children programs. All these will be produced under the banner of Archewell productions.
According to a close source to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they made almost a $100 million deal with Netflix. There are many projects in the pipeline such as the docuseries Heart of Invictus in which Prince Harry will appear and produce whereas another one is an animated show named Pearl which will be executively produced by Meghan Markle.
The relationship of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle has improved rapidly since June when Lilibet was born. Kate reached out to Meghan and as per the sources “they are closer than ever and working on their relationship for the sake of the family.”
