The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, reportedly donated 18 pounds which makes up to $25 in lieu to buy coffee for charity workers in her fight for paid leave for all.

The mommy of two, who lives in a mansion in Montecito, LA sent out cash for the coffee of the organization Paid Leave US.

According to the experts, this is her attempt to forge a future political career after she announced that she will fight for paid parental leave in America.

The boss of the said organization, Neil Sroka tweeted “the Duchess of Sussex (aka Meghan Markle) bought everyone at Paid Leave US a few cups of coffee while we’re working overtime to save paid leave.

Unbelievably classy— and necessary. Truly honored to know she has our backs in the fight to win paid leave for all.”

Neil Sroka also shared a picture of the gift voucher from Starbucks worthy of $25.

This particular charity has 21 people as its staff. Neil Sroka’s account was bombarded with replies from random people who praised this small act of kindness from Meghan Markle. One tweet stated “she leaves magic anywhere she goes. Good work to everyone.” Whereas another said, “that’s the Meghan we know.”

Earlier this month, Meghan had stated her husband Prince Harry and she are elated and overwhelmed with the birth of their second child Lilibet and that is the very reason why she is pushing for paid leaves for parents.

Meghan Markle wrote a letter to two democratic lawmakers where she urged them to seriously think about the new parents and ensure they get an ample amount of leave from work for their newborn babies.

Meghan Markle addressed Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and addressed the hardships that new parents deal with when they have to devote their time between work and newborn babies.

America does not have any system to address the paid parental leave issue even though President Joe Biden vouched to introduce one, but that still needs to see the day of light!
