Met Gala 2021 lived up to its name as always! The biggest night of the year took place in New York on the 13th of September with all its zeal and zest.
The theme of this year’s Met Gala was “In America: A lexicon of fashion”
Let’s have a look at some of the celebs who burn the red carpet with their amazing transition and appearances:
Rihanna with A$AP Rocky
One of the late attendees of the Met Gala, the couple made their official debut on the red carpet in very cozy couture. Rocky endorsed a multicolor coat while Queen Ri wore an unusual high-neck black Balenciaga gown which yielded more than 270 carats of diamonds courtesy of Bulgari and Thelma West. Talk about great taste huh!!!
Zoe Kravitz made an interesting choice by wearing a sheer gown by Saint Laurent with a matching silver bikini inside and jewels by Harry Winston. She did not arrive with rumored boyfriend Channing Tatum who chose to step on the red carpet separately.
Kendall Jenner never fails to impress! The hottie wore a crystal embedded sheer gown by Givenchy Haute Couture. She wore a nude bodysuit inside but paired up her look with a beautiful glitzy choker. She made a statement on the red carpet of the Met Gala as always.
The woman who is on an age rewind! The diva dressed up in a slutty cowgirl look was everywhere on the red carpet. The diva wore a cowboy hat, fur coat paired with a medallion necklace all courtesy of Ralph Lauren while her heels were from her own show line DSW.
The one celeb who made a statement by remaining to shush about her look was Kim Kardashian. Dressed up in an overall black gown that covered her entire face. There was just an opening at the back of her head for a ponytail. She looked like a dementor from a Harry Potter movie sequence.
One of the heaviest gowns endorsed by the celeb on the Met Gala 2021 was worn by Simone Biles. Her crystal embossed gown was a whopping 88 lbs.! It took more than 6 people to carry it and move. The heavily embellished gown was encrusted over a bodysuit. Simone Biles paired it up with crystal heels by Giuseppe Zanotti.
