Minnie Mouse is ditching her iconic red polka dots dress for a “progressive” designer pantsuit!

Our childhood favorite character Minnie Mouse will be swapping her adorable puff-ed sleeves polka dots red dress with a “progressive” Stella McCartney suit and matching bow for the first time in history.

“Stella McCartney has designed Minnie Mouse’s very first pantsuit, and it’s gorgeous 😍 #DisneylandParis30”, Disneyland Paris EN tweeted.

Since Disneyland Paris’ 30th anniversary is approaching, the popular Disney mouse will wear a black and blue color polka dot pantsuit exclusively designed by Stella McCartney for the event.

Regarding this new outfit, the designer said, “The new outfit will make Minnie a ‘symbol of progress’ and will also be worn in ‘honor of Women’s History Month’ in March.”

On 6 March, Disneyland Paris will celebrate its 30 decades with “dazzling” shows before the Sleeping Beauty Castle, which had been closed for the past 12 months for renovations.

The organization had begun preparations for its successful 30 decades as they posted a Tweet in November as a reminder that they are just 100 days away to celebrate the grand event. “100 days to go! Disneyland Paris’ 30th anniversary is fast approaching! From March 6, 2022, make way for even more dreams, laughter and enchantment… Let the magic shine!” they Tweeted,

In a recent statement, designer McCartney said, “Minnie has always had a special place in my heart” and that she is “delighted to be working with the one, the only, the iconic Minnie Mouse.”

“What I love about Minnie is the fact that she embodies happiness, self-expression, authenticity and that she inspires people of all ages around the world. Plus, she has such great style!” added the designer.

“I wanted Minnie to wear her very first pantsuit at Disneyland Paris, so I have designed one of my iconic costumes – a blue tuxedo – using responsibly sourced fabrics.

“This new take on her signature polka dots makes Minnie Mouse a symbol of progress for a new generation. She will wear it in honor of Women’s History Month, in March 2022,” McCartney said.

The designer has also planned to introduce a “unique” and aesthetic Minnie Mouse T-shirt in collaboration with The Walt Disney for International Women’s Rights Day, approaching March 8.

As per Disneyland Paris, the designer will also introduce a limited-edition range of products influenced by the 1940’s classic film Fantasia by Disney from the coming spring.

“Guests will be able to discover a whole new collection of dazzling products exclusively dedicated to the Resort’s 30th Anniversary.

Cast Members from on-site creative studio worked on the development of these new collections for nearly 18 months”, Disneyland Tweeted.

Not just Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, and all the remaining cast, including Pluto, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy Duck, will be donning iridescent costumes exclusively designed for the 30th anniversary of The Walt Disney.

The promo video shows Disney characters hitting the catwalk to flaunt their “progressive” costumes. Mickey Mouse changed his classic suit tails and red PJs for silver, gold, and lavender pantsuit with a bow and hat on the top while Minnie Mouse put on a shiny pink dress with bow on the top and reflective yellow shoes.
