After determining that an Arkansas man had placed a lady and her kids in “imminent danger,” police in Springfield, Missouri, fatally shot him, according to reports on Saturday.
Authorities say Mitchell R. Hooe, 28, of Arkansas was carrying a gun when they reached the residence on Friday night for a report of a domestic dispute.
Missouri Police Officers verified that Hooe was at the residence with a lady and her children. The police said that the mother wasn’t able to speak freely “and it appeared she and her children were in imminent danger.”
Hooe was shot by the cops after they forced their way inside the residence. At the spot, he was pronounced dead.
The officers, the wife, and her children remained unhurt during the incident. An internal inquiry into the officers’ conduct is now underway, according to the police. The number of cops engaged in the event was not made public by the police.
