Police in Pittsburgh say a shooting at a house party early on Easter Sunday killed two teenagers and wounded many others as they tried to flee.

The incident happened at an AirBnB property that was rented on Madison Avenue just after 1 a.m. this Sunday. Authorities think as many as 200 individuals were at the property.

About 50 shots were fired inside the residence prompting partygoers to leap out of windows and suffer lacerations and fractured bones.

According to police, there were a number of further bullets fired outside the Pittsburgh house.

A total of 11 people, including the two dead, were transferred to surrounding hospitals.

According to the police, Deutschtown, a neighborhood on the North Side, is currently the scene of an inquiry and evidence is being collected at eight different crime locations.
