New Yorkers give mixed reactions to President Biden’s vaccine mandate. President stated that all the companies having employees more than 100 are liable to get vaccinated otherwise get themselves and their workers tested for covid-19 on a weekly basis.
The business hub of New York – Manhattan was completely split over the announcement even though more than 70% of New York County have been vaccinated with at least one dose. Approximately 60% of the population has been completely vaccinated.

Most of the companies have refused to abide by this new rule as it is expected to affect millions of employees across the state.
Another resident of New York backed up Biden’s decision stating that “the unvaccinated lot is a public risk and can threaten every other person.” He further stated that stricter means by the federal government might compel the non-vaccinated people to get themselves vaccinated and stop being a threat to the vaccinated population.
