The book club has announced a partnership with the legendary SIMI Winery’s novel to introduce the Editor’s Collection Rosé, the latest collaboration between the Sonoma County company and the book club by Hello Sunshine – founded by Reese Witherspoon.
According to the details, the Editor’s collection Rose’ was specifically developed by the winemaking team of SIMI which is led by an all-women team and the “heroines of Reese’s book club” over the passage of last year.
The collaboration was described as, “an elegant, pale pink, medium-bodied blend with light fruit flavors for a dry, Provence-style wine.”
“Together, our teams collaborated on all aspects — from the liquid to the label design — to create an offering truly reflective of what our readers are looking for that also naturally pairs with a good book and great company,” Hello Sunshine CEO Sarah Harden said. “The Editor’s Collection Rosé exemplifies the quality and thoughtful craftsmanship behind both of our brands and will be a focus [of] many chapters to come.”
The brand further stated that the adult beverage will be using the best pinot noir grapes which are planned to be sourced all the way from California. They will be a perfect partner for a good conversation with books and will be essential during the many meets and greets of the book club.
The working relationship between Reese’s book club and SIMI Winery surprised fans and readers first back in November 2021, when they launched their editor’s collection which comprises of a box set featuring two wines (Cabernet Sauvignon and a Sonoma County Chardonnay) at a retail price of $45 along with a beautiful note by the Oscar-winning actress herself.
According to the website of SIMI, this editor’s collection Rose’ will be priced at $18.99 for a bottle and will be available across the country.
It is also announced that a chunk of the profits will be given to the readership – the collective efforts of the book club hosted by Reese Witherspoon, in order to encourage and increase literacy across America.
SIMI Winery stated, “We believe the launch of the Editor’s Collection Rosé really delivers on all key rosé trends: a celebrity collaboration, an American-origin product created by a world-class, female-led winemaking team and a fan-favorite Provence-style wine that over-indexes with female audiences.”
“As a partnership rooted in celebrating narratives that place women at the center, we could not be more excited to turn this next page together,” added Mallika Monteiro the EVP of Constellation brands – the parent company of SIMI.
