In 2019, the slain star had been shot 10 times in a drive-by shooting in his hometown and was taken for surgery immediately.

One month later, the actor had a session with L. A radio station in which he detailed that episode.

I just feel like when you meant to be here and God has a plan for you, it ain’t no stoppin’ it,” he said, “I hit the ground thinking it was over. My family came out, kept me alive, talking to me, dragging me in the house while they still shooting…My family, love her to death for just saving me. I just feel like I’m blessed just to be here ’cause I could have just died then and there.”

Previously, the artist also talked about how much he and YG wanted to visit his hometown and the streets on which he grew up playing. He seemed threatened as he mentioned that some people would not like him coming back to the town this successful.

He last posted a youtube screenshot of his Caviar Gold official video and captioned it “Just dropped Hol’Uppp”.
