The Arizona National Horse Show: A 60-Year Tradition
The 60th annual Arizona National Horse Show, scheduled for December 12-15, 2024, at WestWorld of Scottsdale, promises to be a captivating event for horse enthusiasts across the Southwest. This AQHA-Approved Quarter Horse Show has become a cherished tradition for equestrians of all skill levels, offering a diverse range of competitions, including Ranch Riding, Reining, Halter, and rail classes. A unique Professional/Amateur Ranch Riding class will also be available for an additional fee.
Youth Competitions Foster Industry Skills
The event will showcase youth competitions designed to cultivate skills within the horse industry. The Horse Skill-A-Thon challenges students’ knowledge of breed identification, equipment, feed, and tack, along with general equine information. The Horse Judging competition evaluates participants’ ability to assess halter and performance classes and justify their decisions through oral presentations.
Celebrating the Passion for Horses
“We’re proud to continue this tradition and bring together competitors and spectators from all over the region to celebrate their passion for horses,” said Tyler Grandil, Executive Director of the Arizona National Livestock Show. The event provides a platform for equestrians to showcase their skills, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared enthusiasm for the equine world.
