Manufacturer of sexual wellness apparatuses, OhMiBod, recently unveiled a new functionality of its vibrators at CES. It has made it possible to control them through external means, such as Alexa or Apple Watch. This news story ended up catching the attention and interest of many people and news outlets over the course of the past week.
By downloading the OhMiBod Remote app, users can adjust the speed, pattern, and intensity of the device to suit their preferences. There are also options specific to the Apple Watch, such as the Pulse Mode which synchronizes the vibrator’s movements to the user’s heartbeat. If your partner owns an Apple Watch, the movements can be synchronized with their heartbeat too.
An additional mode included in the app is called ‘Club Vibe.’ When used, it synchronizes the movements of the device to the music of your choice. Other such included modes are “Rhythm Mode” and the intense “Ludicrous Mode.”
It can also be controlled using Bluetooth, which is an appealing feature for those in long-distance relationships or ones where one or both partners travel often. For those who own Amazon Alexa, they can control the device with their voice during the act.
Founder Suki Dunham had many comments to share: “Smart watches like the new Apple Watch series have evolved into legitimate wellness devices with fantastic biofeedback performance.” Adding onto the statement, she says, “It is the perfect time for OhMiBod to launch its first true biofeedback-driven functionality.”
She goes on to speak further: “Users will be able to set intensity levels, change patterns and set the mood through music.” She concluded by stating that, “More importantly, Alexa’s hands-free functionality helps ensure that all participants can focus on intimacy and enjoyment – without distraction.”
The company OhMiBod manufactures a broad range of sexual wellness devices, all of which are designed to be Bluetooth-enabled and all of them can be connected to the downloadable OhMiBod Remote app. The company’s various products were on full display earlier this past week at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
