LG has always proved itself as one of the go-to brands if you want any home appliance, whether it’s a toaster, oven, TV or refrigerator. In the recent years, after the popularity of projectors skyrocketed, LG dabbled in that as well.
With the release of its CineBeam 4K projector in 2018, which can project a 150-inch screen and has 2500 ANSI lumens, everyone has high expectations from it if it releases its new CineBeam 4K projector at the 2019 CES.
CES is the largest trade show in the world, and LG has continuously been hinted at revealing its ultra-modern 4K projector at the show.
Projector TVs and Why You Should Buy One
Since the last few years, the popularity of the projector TV has been growing ever since people realized that not only is it convenient, but it also has better quality. Buying a large 60-inch TV comes with its own challenges, hauling it from the store to your home after renting a mover or putting it in your truck if you are lucky enough to own one. A lot of the times, stores have movers, but they cost extra. The installation is a pain as well, making space first and finding a suitable place to mount it. Now, mounting it is another issue, involving drills and screws. It’s a whole mess! You’re better off watching Netflix on your laptop.
With the projector TV, things have gotten easier. It comes in a medium-sized box, and all you need to install it is an empty wall. Most projectors nowadays can project about 120-inch screens from 10 inches away. They may be a little steep in price but won’t become obsolete in 2 years like your TV would.
What We Know About the New LG 4K Projector
The details are just a guess right now, but they are looking good. It is expected to have 2500 ANSI lumens, which would be the same as its older make, but it will now be able to project a 90-inch screen from 2 inches away and a 120-screen from 5 inches away. It is really astonishing because you would be able to set it up on your TV table, and you’ll be golden.
Furthermore, the most amazing thing by far that LG will potentially introduce is voice command. If Alexa seems cool right now, imagine your TV obeying all your commands. Star Trek much?
LG’s plans for its new projector have not been revealed yet, but what we can expect at least is a top-notch product which is stable and will last you way longer than any other product out there.
